About OpenGuardian

OpenGuardian is an email verification API and dashboard built for SaaS teams that need to know, with confidence, which email addresses on their list are real.

We started OpenGuardian because existing email verification tools either treated verification as an afterthought (bundled into lead-finding tools) or priced it in ways that punished growing teams — per-credit billing with expiring credits, enterprise contracts for basic features, and no real-time webhook support at signup.

Our API runs six checks per address — syntax, MX lookup, SMTP handshake, disposable-domain detection, role-based detection, and spam-trap risk scoring — and returns a clear verdict and 0–100 score in under 300ms. We offer flat monthly pricing, a generous free tier, and SDKs for Node, Python, PHP, and Go.
