Webhooks

Webhooks let you verify emails in real time as they are submitted through your signup forms. Instead of polling the API, you configure a webhook endpoint that OpenGuardian calls with a verdict for each email.

Set up your webhook URL in the OpenGuardian dashboard. Every time a verification completes, we send a POST request to your URL with the full verdict payload. Your server acknowledges receipt with a 200 status.

This pattern is ideal for signup forms, checkout flows, and any user-submitted email address where you need an instant decision. Average end-to-end latency is under 300ms.
